Before the start of each phase, every evaluator will receive instructions to access the website. If you are an evaluator in any of the stages, follow the guidelines below:

  • 2. Log in according to the instructions received;
  • 3. Click on each initiative and carefully read its description;
  • 4. Answer the questions or assign scores according to the criteria.
5. What criteria and practical drivers are considered when evaluating each category?

For all categories:

  • Did the initiative present a relevant differentiator compared to competitors, whether by raising the standard of solution, experience, and/or result?
  • Did the initiative make use of artificial intelligence with significant impact (e.g., efficiency, speed, quality, and/or personalization)?
  • Did the initiative involve prioritization/renunciation decisions that helped maximize or accelerate the gains obtained?
  • Did the initiative deliver results, solutions, or improvements for clients and/or Ituber that were only possible through effective collaboration between different areas and businesses?

We work for the client

  • Clear demonstration of the needs addressed by the initiative (ideally, with quantitative and/or qualitative qualification)
  • Impact on metrics that prove customer delight and/or validation (e.g., NPS, CSAT, average service time, churn reduction, abandonment rate reduction, consumer ratings, etc.)
  • Proof that we are offering a better solution, differentiated from competitors

We are driven by results

  • Results of the project enrolled should already be observable and relevant
  • Efficient use of resources and reuse of solutions
  • Focus on sustainable growth and business evolution, not just short-term results

We generate positive impacts for society

  • Metrics that prove relevant social or environmental impact
  • Structural solution, with potential for scale or replicability
  • Demonstration of recognition of the impact generated by external stakeholders

Strategic use of AI

  • Use of Artificial Intelligence as a determining factor for the results obtained
  • Results already observable, with metrics that demonstrate significant gains (e.g., efficiency, speed, quality, and/or personalization)
  • Sustainable and scalable solution, with evidence of consistent use and potential for reuse or further development.
6. Can the evaluator evaluate someone or any project in the same executive area?

Yes, the evaluator can evaluate a person and/or project from the same executive area.

But the evaluation must be impartial and bias-free, as we look for the projects and leaders that are highlights for Itaú Unibanco and that we want to recognize through meritocracy.

7. What if the appraiser is on vacation during the appraisal period?

They must notify the responsible area in advance, through email to “Prêmio Walther Moreira Salles”.

It is important that the notice is made in a timely manner, as only then will it be possible to ensure that the evaluation is carried out by another evaluator.

8. What if I miss the evaluation deadline?

The evaluation period is not extendable, so it is extremely important to ensure the commitment of the evaluators to this period.

If they are not available to carry out the evaluation, they must notify the responsible area in advance, through email to “Prêmio Walther Moreira Salles”.
